You're trapped in my world. It seems so dark, but there's always light, and you can hardly tell day from night. It's either raining or freezing cold.
When it's bright outside and the sun is shining down, you'll think it's finally safe but then the sky tumbles down.
The heat is too much and the wind blows so hard. The only time it's calm is when I'm wrapped in your arms. I feel you with me every moment.
We can be miserable together and put an end to all this. Close your eyes and feel the rain, wind, and sun back away.
Because, when I'm with you I control the pain.
I can tell the world to stop spinning right now, and time doesn't listen, but one day I'll slow it down.
I don't care what's happening on this earth as long as I have you. You're the only thing with worth. We can run away. But, who's running?
I can lay here all day and keep you on my mind and in my heart. I dare any mortal to try to keep us apart.
When time runs out you'll be the last thing I think about and the last one I see. Baby, you promised me that you would never leave.
Don't let me die first, because I'll stay behind and cry. You better hope we go at the same time.
I'd gladly leave this world to save you, but Baby that's not something I want you to go through. Not one single tear should slide down your face.
